Store Finanical Management

For: Store Owners / Managers

Today, every store is looking for answers on how to improve their financial situation. Maximizing Store Profits is a 1 ½ day seminar specifically designed to give independent stores and company-owned stores the tools to manage their business for improved profitability. This seminar will familiarize students with the basics of financial management and improve understanding of typical store operating results. This seminar is NOT a course to teach bookkeeping or accounting, but rather it is a program designed to teach attendees sound store operating practices and how to use financial and operating information to increase profitability.

Delivered in two formats, this seminar will be presented in a workshop format with group discussions, exercises and a store store case study.

The internal version of Maximizing Store Profits will teach warehouse sales and management personnel the understanding of a store income statement and all components that would impact that income statement to make a store profitable or not. The focus involves teaching students how to consult and assist their store accounts to improve cash flow, sales and expense control.

The external version of this seminar is targeted directly towards the storeowner and or manager. The content of this session is similar in content, but will focus directly on a “hands-on” approach to the management of financial and operational issues that affect store profitability.
